I've got one of those Sony 5 point surround sound stereo setups with optical in etc. The problem I'm having is that one of the satellite speakers is crackling. Now I know it's not the cable, because I tested the cable with the other satellite and it worked fine, so it looks like it's the speaker.
Trouble is, there's no screwholes or anything like that on the actual speaker, and the grill/mesh thing on the speaker is glued on or something, either way I can't get it off. Any ideas as to where I might be able to find an affordable replacement for it? Or a possible way to fix it? Thanks |

Go buy an amp, and a couple of huge-ass speakers. So much better than the pissy little speakers.

It may be held together by little internal clips. Squeeze the joins and find where its harder to flex, that is prolly the clip. Nice thin flat blade object should open it up.
