Poor lil Spook just called me and advised his iinet is having major conneciton problems since last night. Modem connects very briefly each time for about 10-15 secs and then drops again. Anyone else having issues ?
he's called iinet and they reckon it aint them. |

If it were iiNet I'd have heard about it from people at work by now.
I don't think it is them. |

I reckon it's Valve's fault.
Anyway, you'll be better off posting on Whirlpool in future, as there are more iiNet nerds in that forum who click refresh every 2 seconds and whinge whenever their latency goes up by 0.24 nano-seconds. last edited by parabol at 09:56:39 11/Jun/05 |

Spook what sort of modem is it? Sometimes they seem to play up and need rebooting...even firmware flashing :( Never again Billion, never again.

for just normal web browsing, iinet has been almost totally unusuable the last few days for us. download speeds are fine, but the latency has been painfull.

I have not had any problems with iinet since I returned the d-link pile of s*** router, and replaced it with a s***hot! linksys one.
8mbit baby, I've never experienced faster free porn. So no, there is no problems with iinet. Only the fact they use d-link routers which I would say are the cause of any and all problems. last edited by gimpy at 15:06:52 15/Jun/05 |
