Hey fellas a while back i asked about a KVM and decided to go buy a 4 port KVM. Well i bought that KVM and it's not working with my intelli mouse. More specifically "IntelliMouse Explorer3 ps2 compatiable". It just keeps flickering every second or so.
Im running the mouse through a USB to ps2 adapter, as the KVM only takes ps2. Anyone know how i can solve this? |

perhaps the kvm doesn't pass a required amounth of power through to the mouse ?
I guess you could get two USB extensions and tape them to the top of the KVM and just switch the USB mouse between the female ends of them. |

that converter i gave you might be for keyboards only, search around in the black shoe box under my desk for a green one.
and while it sounds weird that a usb keyboard uses a different converter, i've found from experience that it has. |

Oh yeah, try an old ps2 mouse if you have one lying around, maybe the port on the KVM is broken ?
