I remember the first Trackmania being talked about a fair bit on here. The Sunrise english demo finally came out, and its awesome. Pretty impressive stuff. Download from AusGamers.

i think this game still needs a bit of work, it would be nice if the environments were a little more interactive e.g. being able to knock over sign posts etc..... maybe it's just the fact that no other racing games seems that fun anymore after having played so much burnout3 lately :)

Played B3 at a mates house a while ago, I haven't really been grabbed by any racing games lately but playing the crash scenario I couldn't put down!

Before I knew it 3am had rolled around and we were still at it lol :) Most fun I've had in a car racing style game in a long time!

That said trackmania is a whole different style, I really enjoyed the first one so I'll definately be checking this one out.

and the good news is there will be a third trackmania patch/update soon that will bring the engine/interface upto the same standard as the changes done to sunrise.

Sunrise is a totally new game, in regards to the price, i'd imagine it'll be about the same price as all other new games that come out.

Games Warehouse are taking pre-orders at $39.95 for Trackmania Sunrise (RRP is $49.95, release date is listed as 30-Apr-2005).

I don't know what they have done to this game but its heaps better than the older demo.

I just finished the demo. Holy f*** it was fun!

I like it how they made a track-editing challenge, which will likely train people to make some wicked s*** and keep the game fun. This game seriously triggered my Stunts nostalgia.

Cool, got it working. Nice map but it's too hard to get speed in the tunnels without crashing. Also very confusing because it's so long. Also, it's better than anything I could make.

Has anybody beaten 18.93 on 'The Right Speed' - if so I want the replay, I been trying to get it under 18 and I just dont think it's possible, I can't even beat 18.93 =\ - the Nadeo time was mid 19 or something i think.

It is possible Loki. Its not too hard. The idea is to only touch the water once.

Anyone know how to put decals on the car so it's actually lined up straight and not at weird angles. I find the more you turn the car around the more outta whack it is when putting stickers on. Very annoying.

I recieved the full game, the coast environment (the other sports car from the demo) is a horrible let down, the scenery is stunning, the tracks are tiny, and the car handles like a big fat f***....
