Ok I've finnaly decided its time to get a new video card cause I'm sick of mine overheating like a dog on heat.
It needs to run at least Doom 3/HL2 or pain killer at a nice rate. I currently have a GeForce 4 MX 440 SE(hooray for home brand versions) I can run painkiller already at 640/480 with q3 osp graphics but sadly I need more. So got any suggestions post them I would like something that is within a cheap range and itsnt gonna cost me too much. |

GeCube 9800XT 128meg TV and DVI Video Card MODEL : R98XTP-C3 $ 339
MSI Radeon 9800Pro 128meg DDR Memory TV / DVI Model: RX9800PRO-TD128SP $ 299 Either of those. If you can afford a bit more, theres a guy on sold selling a 6800 GT for $430 reserve, good deal. I wouldn't go anything below them. |

If you were going to pay for a 9800xt you'd go and buy a 6600gt instead.

256MB Radeon 9550 $120 for the win. I used to have a geforce 4 mx 440 no name too. I upgraded to a radeon 9550 and the results are amazing.
If you're rich, go nuts. If you're a poor student like me already trying to run a girlfriend and a car, go the 256mb radeon 9550. |
