CVG has a short 'hands on' with the upcoming title Battlefield 2. Certainly sounds like the developers have nailed quite a few gameplay aspects with a heavy emphasis on 'teamplay'. Certainly hanging out for this one in 2005. They have also seemed to have implemented dynamic map sizes for online play.
But perhaps the biggest difference between Battlefield 2 and its predecessors lies in the new game environments. There are 12 of them in total, with three variations of each depending upon server settings - every map can shrink and grow to accommodate 16, 32 or 64 players. |

You'd think they could use some new screenshots, this one just makes the game look like s***.

That one does nothing for the game, I agree.
You should click on the "more screenshots link" they do have some pics which make me want to get into it. |

Wasn't this originally the Stalker thread thingy?
EDIT: Sorry, thought that screeny was from Stalker. And yes, it does look dodgy for something promoting a kick-ass game. 8-) last edited by Reverend Evil at 12:59:07 23/Feb/05 |
