"The show features new versions of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, the Tasmanian Devil, Road Runner and Lola Bunny (the newest of the characters, who was introduced in the 1996 Michael Jordan movie "Space Jam").

For "Loonatics," the six characters are being projected 700 years into the future, given superpowers, and outfitted in tight-fitting, slenderizing space gear."

Those f***ers, they've turned some of the greatest cartoon characters of all time into something that looks like a loony toons version of power rangers :(

At first I thought it was just some new cartoon, it actually took me a while to realise that all the characters there are bastardised "modernised" versions of wile coyote, taz, bugs, daffy and road runner. So sad.

Oh f***, now that you edited in the extra info, it sounds even worse :(

ehehe yeah, I thought I was a little too brief.
I still think that the WB cartoons had/has some of the best gags I've ever seen. I swear I can still watch Road runner and piss myself laughing at all the amazingly out-there contraptions teh crew managed to create then make backfire in some elaborate way.

I've noticed this trend with disney cartoons too. The new movies (Home on the range - what the hell was that movie?) are, in short, just s***. At first I thought it was due to the fact that I'm getting older, but after going back and watchign a few of the shows I used to watch (sooty for example contains some pretty funny stuff even for adults) and still cracking a smile I've concluded that we are currently suffering form a stupid scriptwriters/directors epedemic. Hopefully it'll sort itself out before too long.

"And secondly," he said, "these are cartoons. Lighten up! They're fun and the existence of one doesn't preclude the existence of another."

If you want the old cartoons.. then watch them.

Man I hated most looney toons, road runner was about the only exception. The new ones look pretty funky though, who knows, they might be cool!

I've noticed that on the rare occasions the TV has been on, they've run out of ideas these days, all the afternoon kids cartoons are all about the most retarded things ever... and half the time with blue purple and green coloured poeple etc. For example that amanada annaconda or whatever its called heap of s***, that has to be the most boring retarded show ever.

Makes me kinda sad cause the oldschool cartoons I had as a kid were a million times cooler than these lumps of s***.

The Yanks are their own worst enemies. Now they are cannibalising their own Cartoon Icons.

They're f***ing with my childhood, its wrong I tells ya!

Still, now it means theres going to be a generation of kids who grow up thinking that Bugs Bunny is some kind of Buzz Bunny ripoff =\

MOST ANNOYING SHOW EVER MADE !!!

a couple of years ago i went on holidays with my family, every morning at 10(i think) was my sisters 'turn' of the tv and every day she would watch that stupid s***.. It is the worst show ever created.

//begin rant

Every person/sentence in the show has everyones complete name. So, instead of someone saying 'he said this', amanda would say the full persons name eg ' billy boogles sad this'. Every f***ing sentence had someones full name in it AAHHHH!!! the memories are returning :'( nightmare for me tonight

//end rant
