We need a couple more garage door remotes for our home, however, the suckers are $65 a pop! Rip if you ask me. You should see what they look like! /rant.
http://www.bossoperators.com.au/Boss11.jpg Anyhow, my questions is, can you buy some cheap remote that learns the frequency or something like those universal TV remote controls do? I know their expensive, but I was hoping the garage door ones would be cheaper. (if they exist) Thanks. |

The new remotes for door openers usually haveto come from the manufacturer because they send out a different code eatch time the door is open or closed it is a security thing so bill bob can't break in with a unersal remote.

Denominator, I have two remotes for my car. Usually a signal is received when one is sent so they know it is the same remote reopening the car. However I can use either one and it works without a problem

Not all roller doors have this security but you can have multiple controlers on these systems even keypad access. It never actualy sends the same code twice but it know whitch one to send to open or close the door at any particular time prity freaky hey. |
