What do you think of smartphones? Will digital cameras, pocketpcs, mobiles, laptops and mp3 players be replaced on day by a supersmartphone? Or do you think people prefer to have their separates?

New Nokia 7710 is out and offers pen input, handwriting recognition, eBook reader, Internet browser, music player, streaming and recording video, camera, FM radio with Visual Radio client. That's supersmart.

I think as technology becomes more smaller and mobile we might see a few new innovations in how to transport it around.

As for smartphones, for the time being. I suppose its a good idea until people invest or invent in a way to wear a computer or computerised mechanism on your face or implant it into your body.

The future is a funny thing :)

I've got a motorola A1000 - not a bad Smartphone, but not quite what you want if your main objective is phone calls and SMS... purely a touch-screen and no number pad is a little weird. but im slowly getting used to it after 5weeks!

Functionality wise its a great phone!

Yeah the different handset manufacturers have such different flows, I can use any Nokia phone because that's what I've mainly had in the past but I am useless when it comes to using other makes. I had a Samsung for a bit really confused me! I reckon when I finanlly get my 7710 it's gonna be tricky to use...where's the keypad! Oh well I need the challenge :)
