What an awesum morning to sleep in
ever since we moved to Moorooka 2 months ago every god dam morning from 6am onwards all the birds in australia flock to my neighbor to have a huge chat/argument.
Which is very fukin loud and very loud, its even very loud. its so loud its REALLY loud.

This morning was different.

Did anyone notice how there was;
_NO_ birds chirping?
_NO_ crows crowing?
_NO_ dogs barking?
_NO_ noise?

T'was a perfect morning for me cept for missus getting up to goto work but i fell back asleep soon after to wakeup with a smile at 12 midday.

First time ive accually been able to sleep in here.

Anyone else notice similar results?

I can sleep through:
thunder storms
birds chirping
crows making that stupid noise that makes everyone want to shoot them
dogs
cats
chickens
cows
ducks
pigs (take that whicher way :)
planes
trains
automobiles
basically anything that doesn't involve a person hitting me to wake me up.

I woke up in moorooka this morning and i can tell you it wasn't quiet.

Kids running about screaming doing whatever kids do these days, people doing the lawn mowing and that kinda s***.

The birds clearly had a sense of what a sunday morning means to a lot of people.

Nope, I live in moorooka, and have for the past 18 odd years and I can't remember a time when the birds would wake me up in the morning more than once or twice in a month or so.

yeah i pretty much sleep through anything aswell. Moorooka isnt that bad from birds i live near ipswich and the beaudesert road split so cars can be kinda loud.

i also had work this morning :( stupid red rooster.

yeah lots of kids this morning i was walking to work at like 8 am and there is like 4 kids in the park playing tennis

my mum tells me i slept through the fire alarm, and i used to have a rooster that didnt wake me up

I woke up at 5:20am this morning, was nervous about sleeping in for my first day of full time work so managed to wake up a f***en hour early.....

And it was one of those wake up, realise alarm isn't going off, there is sun coming in the window and s***ting yourself thinking you've slept in, once I saw the time I'd already gotten wired enough to not get back to sleep......

I'm kinda near the Moorooka area so the wildlife should be similar

I don't get woken up by the birds or anything...mostly my little brother running in and jumping on me...and nothing angers me more than someone/something waking me up
