4-4-3
but it could have been alot worse the 3 was for stats(econ1320) when i decided i wouldnt do the mid semester or quizzes, and have the final worth 100%. In the final exam i barely answered two questions worth 40% of the exam, so to get a 3 was quite impressive :) |

I'm doing elec. engineering.
How did you (other engineers) get work experience (as required by the degree)? I got a list of employers from the school of engineering, but they sucked (irrelevant jobs)! |

such a relief to get results, nothing worse than being in last semester and having the prospect of potentially not finishing and having to come back for another crack at it next yr.
two 5s and a 6 was a nice finish to my 5 yrs at uni (double degree in business and commerce) and thank god i dont have to go back :) |

parabol - I couldn't find any work experience either so I convinced my thesis supervisor to let me start during the christmas holidays and count that as my 30 days under a preofessional engineer.

I arranged my vocation work with a local council where I used to live (wanted to go home and visit the family for the summer). Through that I landed work with a consulting firm during semester and from that I got a graduate position with one of Australia's leading firms for the field I'm in.
And my friends laughed at me for taking unpaid council work pfffft. Parabol: go to one of the careers markets, its a good start. Oh btw Civil Engineering. |

How come the subject you expect a good mark in you end up with crap and do better in the others?
I had one subject I 'knew' I was gonna get a 7 in - knew what was gonna be on the exam and I answered every question well for 2 40%ers - and got a 5 while other subjects got three 6s :| I made my quota anyway and it was my last semester so now I just have to look for work :( |

Johnny those subjects everyone knows what will be on the exam, so it gets haveily bell curved.
Its what is gonna happen for my exam that hasn't been marked yet for sure. I finished it in the reading time, all 8 questions even though onlyhad to answer 5... I hope I don't cop it to harshly on the bell curve, I need a 5 or more for honours. |

Studio 6 - 6
InfoVis - 7 Pity studio 6 was a big sack of ball sweat, otherwise I might have done work in the second half of semester. |

how come the majority of ppl here seem to do only 3 subjects a semester? For me it was because I dropped introduction to management in second year, and didn't want to do one semester with only one subject. Also this semester I did a subject that was worth double credit. Which sounds good, but in reality was pretty homosexual. |

it's not really hard, its just impossible to motivate yourself for it.
i was doing a marketing major, and didn't want to know how to derive f***** forumulas. I found macro a piece of piss, but then again I've always had an interest in economics. |
