Gateway have a deal on at the momemt where you can get the Boston Acoustics BA 7500 Speakers set that normally sells for $500 for $99. Stocks are limited and if any of you get them and I don't manage to I'll be quite upset.

There's also un-substantiated rumours that as part of Gateway's 'half yearly clearance' they were selling flat screen monitors rediculously cheap. Why do I only hear this after the sales has been going for a week??

Hmmm I just phoned them and it is a Sydney warehouse clearance... You order them, but it is not a guarantee that you will get them. I think a lot of ppl are going to get let down.

I ordered a set of 7500s and 735s... Sweeeeet... :)

While I was in there there must have been seriously 20 phone calls come in JUST for Boston Accoustics... The guy was like:
"How many sets would you like, Sir? Four, OK. Allow 5 or 6 days for delivery..."
"How heavy are they? The sattelites themselves are very light, the sub is quite heavy, though..."

Seriously, 20 calls. BTW ive got a reciept faxed to me from Sydney, if they back out, thats a legal contract...

I just spoke to the guy at the store at Mt Gravatt, and they no longer have any of the 4.1 systems left, but they have the same ones without the rear speakers for $89 dollers.

I called the Brisbane Office.

They have stock for each of the 3 types of speakers and the price is still the same. But you have ta be quick and if you cant pay by CC you have to go into the store.

do you need a digital out on your soundcard for these? someone's telling me they are OEM and dont have the analog inputs

does anyone know if i can use the BA7500 2.1 without any modifications

OK, this is how it is. I have a Vibra 128. I bought the three piece for $89. I know they won't work atm. What sound card do I need to make them work? Will a SBLive Value do the trick, or is a SBLive Value Digital required?

i have an old sblive value, but i cant be bothered doing s*** to it, so ill just buy a sblive 5.1.. save a lot of hassle.
