If you saw are in a street fight, whether you started it or not, would you fight "honourably"(no eye gouging, biting, punches or kicks to the balls) or would you do whatever it takes to win?

My philosophy is "If I'm not wearing trunks and a pair of red gloves, don't see a referee and I'm not in a ring, then anything goes"

Although guns and knives don't count; that takes street fighting(assault, broken bones, sticthes) up a level to murder : >.

Forums are slow with Lions losing, up the Lions.

It's unfair if both parties don't have the same equipment

So unless you have a couple of twins fighting the fight is unfair?

And no, I wouldn't fight fair.. do you think the phsycho who picked a fight with you would?

um... let me see.

/me big hero.

/me join other f***tards in pointless street fights.

Frankly if any of these retards seriously threatened me or mine I'd quite happily just shoot them if only to do society a favour.

Anyone who would resort to eye gouging or serious blows to the groin deserves serious f***ing assault charges and a jail term.

Seriously, that's not cool.

yeah ive also heard of deads because of *harmless* fights between boys.

It wouldn't be cool to be in a fight, land a good hit, you think you've won. All you win is a nice long jail term.

If it really came down to the crunch and i had to fight for myself or otherwise copp it sweet then f*** the honour off i'll do enough to harm the other person so he doesn't get up again to keep threatening me. I would never start a fight though.

To those saying you can kill people without a weapon......jeez no s*** sherlock tell us something we don't know. I merely provided that as an example. You can't say the same amount of people die in unnarmed combat as armed combat, not even close.

Bing, and there you have it, perfectly legal too =) (if it were self defense).

Personally I'd take out my club-lock and bust a knee cap or two, you can chase me with your wheelchair next time =P

It just depends on where you live, take Brisbane for example: when was the last time a person was shot dead, and when was the last time a person was beaten to death? I would bet in Brisbane people are beaten to death more often (or at least at a comparable rate) than shot.

Also I've never heard of anyone dying from an eyegouge or even the most brutal kick to the balls.

8.Groin
People think a simple upward kick to the groin is how its done. If you want to earn some serious self defense brownie points for a groin kick, try it this way. Instead if kicking UP into the groin, kick STRAIGHT at the groin, if you hit it right, not only will you hit their sack and crunch it under your foot, you will kick open the pubic arch. It like kicking a poorly latched gate, the doors just swing right open. Theres risk of bone splintering into the bladder. Waste is toxic to the rest of the body, so without medical aid, theyre in serious trouble. Also, with the fact their pubic arch is separated, the two pieces rub together when the person tries to move, giving them a nauseous feeling. After a good hit like that, the person will probably be on their knees, arms wrapped about themselves with their forehead on the ground moaning in pain. Without some medical assistance, the person will likely die.
Nasty.

Anything goes in a street fight :)

I remember punchin on with this dude one time and I got him with a clean right hook (up until this point it was all fists)

And after that, he slips on some knuckle dusters :S

All I can say about them is... "ow"

lol

But really anything goes.... Although I would at the very least respect the man's private parts....

From the groin kick thing:
Without some medical assistance, the person will likely die.
Thats pretty squarely within the definition of GBH, and you really don't want to go there. That is where they start charging you with murder if the dude dies, and otherwise putting you away for quite a while.

The only honour there should be for a street fight is that it remain 1 on 1, I hate it when some hero burrs up at you, and there a f***en small army behind em, otherwise they'd be in the corner hiding hoping no one picks a fight with them.

The other one that makes me laugh is pissed hero's picking the sobber bouncer, gee I wonder who is going to win that one (I don't like the hero bouncer neither, but some drunks do ask for a arse whipping).

that's why it's so risky and generally a Very Bad Idea. because you never know what the other person has, wether it be a weapon or martial arts training.

if he is as huge as the duder in acetame's sig he'd probably be unable to throw a punch properly so being too big might not be so good :\ Then again, you could probably hit him repeatedly with a monkey wrench and it wouldn't do anything :(

well. it depends on how/why the fight is there in the first place

if someone pulled a knife on you, defend your self anyway you can. however if you and some random just start fighting, fair & square is the way to go. when you start doing bad stuff is when you get screwed over.

Well considering I would never pick a fight and would do anything in my power to avoid being in a fight (including running away), if I had to fight it'd mean I had absolutely no choice so - whatever it takes to allow me to walk (run) away.

There is no such thing as an "honorable" street fight. The only honorable fighting is refereed matches.

First, you gotta shriek like a woman and keep sobbing until he turns away in disgust. That's when it's time to kick some back. And then when he's lying down on the ground,...
Kick him in the ribs,...
Step on his neck,...
And run like hell.

I'd just smile and say, "No, I don't think so." or "Umm.. no, it's my wallet, f*** off."

It's also about apparent confidence. I may well be completely s***scared that this punk is going to tear me to bits, but if I look like I'm s***scared, he probably will.

Just smile and make them think twice. I haven't been in a fight since I was an angry young man (about 19 I think).

And for the record, I fought like a f***ing psycho. If I ever got angry enough to want to hurt someone, I wanted to hurt them very very badly.

But now I'm a nice guy ;)

No Jury in the world would convict you for a lucky (or unlucky depending on who's side your on) kick to the groin that resulted in death during self defense.

Yep because at least then there is a referee to halt the match and Tyson copped plenty of sanctions. If you are in a street fight biting ears off is pretty much to be expected :P
