They finally fixed the taking damage while walking down stairs thing, which made me uninstall it in the first place.

I still won't be reinstalling it :)

About three days ago I played a bit of BF:Vietnam one night. Next day I thought I'd give it another go...and well ALL my control settings had vanished! Every single control setup i had entered was completley gone?? even the 'default' was gone..I couldnt get the defualt control settings to come up at all? My profile was still there but no config attached to the profile??

re-mapped all my keys and j/stick settings and it was fine until it crashed. anyone had this problem of suddenly losing all your config like that?

i've never been able to get my joystick to work properly...it behaves as tho it is no calibrated (my aircraft always spiral out of control) despite the fact that it is definitely calibrated in windows!

I wanna play with my joystick!! >=[

my thoughts would be to set it all up the way you want then make the accual config file 'read only'

or make a backup and make a .bat file which replaces the one in vietnam with your backup?
