Saw it tonight, Brisbane premiere from what I can tell. Front row seats (well, A row, not AA row. But your neck would get sore in AA row) and all. Bloody brilliant.

Info on QPAC website

If you get the chance to get some tickets, buy them damnit, and go and see this awesome show.

It has quite a few jokes in it, it's funny, and damn, theres just something awesome of hearing We Will Rock You with theatre quality sound setup, and a lot of bass. Damn good.

GO AND SEE IT!

I want to see it but it's a matter of convincing someone else that it's worth going to see.

i really want to see it for the production values. read alot about the london and melbourne production and its a great mix of rock and theatre. bet some of the QPAC guys got a bit freaked out when the touring sound/lighting rig rocked up at their dock ;)

I saw this in London and it was awesome.

Make sure you understand what it is about though, a friend was disapointed by the 'science fiction' setting. This is not a play about Freddy.

I just went and saw this; man it was awesome! If you're a Queen fan, you'll dig it. Some great jibes at the music industry and its just all-round a really entertaining fest. Computer nerds will enjoy a small clip movie of footage from various computer games, including Quake 3, indicating the producers have taste on more than just musical levels.

The wife's boss bought 4 tickets for us and couple of friends to go see it this Friday. Looking forward to it.

See! Even trog likes it!

Oh, and with trog resurrecting what could be an 'old' thread, does he ban himself? :D

Well apparently they have been organised from industry insiders for the corporate few so as in all other shows the company has paid for they will most likely be the best in da house!

Some of the previous shows her company has paid for included a private room with full bar service, finger food, silver service staff, escort to your seats ect...none of this quing at the bar s***...pretty awesome really. :)

My one great hope is that I dont have to go back into hospital tomorrow and miss the whole damn thing.

I saw it on Tuesday night. Got great seats down the front (definately worth the extra money, don't pay for the mezzanine!).

Some unreal production, great songs (Radio Ga Ga was a highlight) and lots of T & A. The blonde chick is a little cutie.

Makes you realise how much this band meant to a LOT of people (women behind me were sobbing during some of the ballads) and how many terrific songs they had in their career.

It cost $70 for the seats down the front, but I highly recommend going to see it before it finishes up.

Yes, indeed Queen were/are awesome. I saw them live at Festival hall in 1976 and it was brilliant even though at that stage they only had a few albums under their belt.

Zak - when I went and saw it, had basically front row seats (well, A row, not AA row, but was at an end of A row where I could stretch legs = bonus!).

Oh, if you're really close the front, be prepared for about two bits of being semi-blind, due to various fireballs.

I think saying something like that is perhaps more homosexual than attending a musical.

Go along dude, you will enjoy it. You might even get some culture into you, heaven forbid.
