a friend of mine has a dell 9100 and has a problem with the screen. there's wierd verticall lines on the lCD (similar to a tv), also when he uses the default resolution, its very difficult to make out the text.
i suggested (being a fellow radeon owner myself :P) that the problem came from driver issues since everytime i formatted my PC, with default settings (no added drivers) a similar problem occurs. but when i install the drivers, everything is fine. but the problem with him is that a dell 9100 has a mobility 9700 and ATI does not have any mobility drivers. anyone know how to fix this? |

Try the omega drivers from:
http://www.omegacorner.com/index_ati.html I've got no idea if they'll install on a 9700, but they work fine for my mob. 9600 |
