Just read this off google, How's this for name new Microsoft XP update :)

Microsoft is considering updating Windows XP before it releases Longhorn, a major overhaul of the industry's dominant operating system that is not expected for about two years.

Issuing an update to XP would represent a significant shift for the software maker, which for months has insisted that it had no plans to create a separate version of Windows before Longhorn. A company executive confirmed to CNET News.com on Thursday that Microsoft is now discussing a product internally referred to as "Windows XP Reloaded."

heh yeah exactly Spidz* :) But it's only an internal nameing so it hasn't much bearing on the final product name. I just thought it's a funny nerdy things to do :)

what's wrong with Windows ME? It's like Windows SE, the SE means special edition, ME means Millenium Edition. Just because it happens to spell 'me'

Are they planning to release this "reloaded" xp as a software update you can download, or a seperate product you can buy at the shops? If it's the latter, M$ are such whores.

well, it'd want to be a bloody good upgrade for me to buy it. It'd have to include some new programs that are actually useful, not just security fixes and a few new wallpapers and call it an upgrade
