As I was driving through works carpark tonight, a piece of ice slammed into my windscreen. I hit the brakes and looked around, stunned, and saw two kids running away. Floored the pedal and chased them (although it was only about 200 metres) and caught one of them. Stood right next to him, about five centimetres away, and twice as tall, and asked him menacingly which one threw the ice. He was nearly wetting his pants, blubbering and crying "It wasn't me , he threw it" I told him to take me to the other kid, which he did, leading me straight into the toilets, were one cubicle was occipied, with the sounds of frightened breathing. The kid in the cubicle quietly asked the kid outside if he was alright, and was told yes, then asked if he got away. The kid outside said "um, nooo". Kid number 2 then asked where I was, and I growled, "right outside this door". Silence. I then said if he wasn't in the foyer within two minutes, I was coming back to get him. Two minutes later he was standing sheepishly in front of me. I asked him if his parents were here, he said yes, I said go and get them. When his mother arrived I led them all outside and proceded to berate them about damage to my car, and how I had only had it back from the repair shop for 12 hours (true) and how I didn't appreciate people trying to damage my car. I said I didn't care if the ice was crushed ice, cubed ice (which I think it was, since there was no cracks or anything in the screen), rocks or anything else, that fact was that this was my car. I had bought it, I had paid for it, and I kept it running. It is not there for other peoples enjoyment. The fact that everyone in this goddamed hick town has damaged my car at some stage was irrelevant and this didn't give them an allowance to do the same. His mother said she was very sorry (although, in true dole-bludging victim style, didn't seem to mean it. What a surprise). Needless to say, even without touching either kid, both will think twice before doing something like that again, and neither will ever do it to my car again. The threat of violence, (a biffing) is often more effective than actual violence.

hehe i love it :P good to hear you didn't use violence. Although going after them by yourself could have been a bit stupid, never know who was with them.

little a******s. i've done that b4. although under slightly different cirumstances, most off the kids that do that sorta s*** buckle and cry like little girls when confronted. thats why they run away.

yup most of them are gutless to do it to your face, and when you go after them, like you both says they buckle over and cry. I love to see that. Big mucho kids go tiny when they get caught. you think they could at least recognise what they have done and stand up for the punishment, not hide and go all defencive.

although that is natural hman behaviour

They run away becasue they are ashamed to be doing something so silly and pointless

The hiding in the toilet was a nice touch I thought (espicially since he was standing on the seat:)

CaPt0: true, but I had the whole "red mist" thing going...

There is something to be said for having a deep voice than can have an edge to it...:)

Shot_guN: Actually, there was no damage (it hit the screen and broke apart, whatever it was) but it was more the anger at having something thrown at my car, whle I was driving. Coulda hit the car heading the other way in my shock.

Thaw: about 10yo I think.

Damn they were scared:)

Its better if you can pick them up, you know like so they are at your level feet dangling. Thats pretty scary for them especially if youre a pretty tall person.

I dont know if I couldnt have been a little rough, I mean I would have been f***in ropable.

lol kaygen nuked again haahah.

And those reports say that playing games increases your tendency to do voilent acts.

They way I see it, is that computer games actually help you find another way besides voilence to solve a problem, stupid anti-game people.

Goodwork Draffa.

Yeah just use a gruff voice, like Eddie :)

Seen Mister Robinsons neighbourhood ( Eddie Murphy on Saturday Night Live)??

"Now kids, this is how we answer the door in our neighbourhood *Deep gruff voice* WHO IS IT!?"

Haha, funny thing is, for whoever hasn't seen it, Mister Robinson usually has a quiet voice. God that s*** cracks me up.

Oh yeh, and i hate vandals too.

I hate vandals.

Especially when they are little fagets who deny it even after you catch them red handed.

The bad thing is if you are over 18 and you lay a hand on a 15yr old after he smashes all the windows in your car - you're pretty much f***ed in terms of legal support if the kid sues after you hit em.

you should track them down to their house, and when they are asleep redecorate their car in the same fasion as yours ( do not try this at home )

Outklast: I thought about doing that, but figured there were too may people watching (especially considering the legal issues noted by Silent Remorse).

Toll Booth Willy: Nah, I couldn't do that. I know how pissed off I get after all the damage done to my car over the last few years.

Rodolphe: Yeah right, like they'd get much outta me. (lets see, my car, my broken stereo, my chipboard desk, blurry monitior, and not much else). But, the court would probably allow them to take money out of my payslip for the next thousand years. Sigh. Bloody ligitous attitude people have nowadays.

Why did you stop your car when you reached him?

Just keep on driving and plough straight over him next time.

as i was driving out of the indro car park one day, some punk ass kid threw a maccas coke at my car, for a laugh. i wasnt in the best mood that day, and i was on my way to play some pool at q-masters, with my trusty 2 piece cue next to me.
this guy looked about 14, and was laughing with his mates, and when i got out they even swore at me. so i pulled out the bottom half of my cue (which looks menacing when held the right way) and approached them, they started to shrink, but not enogh...
the amusing thing is the friend i had dropped off at indro had just seen what had happened, he happens to be 6'7", and about 130 kilos, he playes rugby and stuff. he was carrying a cricket bat he wanted to return to a-mart allsports

so theres me with a pool cue, and my friend with a cricket bat approacing these f***** kids. they tried to verbally bash me, but as soon as they saw my friend, they shrank very tiny. if anyone knows where im talking about, tis the side outside the food court where the little kids smoke up. so we boxed em into a corner, and told them where they could stick their drink. i drove off but not before mkaing sure the rest of my oozing big mac was being worn across his shirt. he didnt dare make a move until i was in my car.

ive only had runins like this occasionally and it s***s me to tears that some fags can be complete d*******s when it comes to others. in general the threat of physical violence is better than violence itself, but sheer intimidation is the key :)

heh... i can remember that when i was about 10 a friend of mine and i climbed a tree in my front yard with supersoakers, spraying some water on cars taht drove past like we were taking out armoured patrols or something. apparently we sprayed it in some guys back window and 'wet his daughter'. well... apparently a lil bit o' water was too much for the girl, and he came back and caught us trying to run away. being stupid we dinied that it was us, although we were both holding super soakers and looked very guilty.

we never played shoot the cars again.
