ok, i just went and got a live for $100. since my xitel and gf3 dont like each other, even when i change their IR's it dont make a difference. I couldnt use opengl/d3d at all... so I just went and bought a sb-live. a3d is the best BTW. |

Speaking of XP theatre. If a game utilizes both a3d and EAX and your sound card does aswell (xp) what happens? Like do you get uber sound or is it muffled or are you best to select one or the other? |

Ross used to use both and he said that what it does is its like normal a3d, so you get the positional plus the range but walls are no barier to sound so he can hear you no matter where you are on the map. that's what he said, i coudl try it myself but i dont' botehr because eax givees weird echos on some maps and its annoying. |
