Thats a total no brainer.
Basically youve got two options: Single player for MOH and Multiplayer for BF942. BF1942 is a krad game. Its got a strong online following. And mod scene is sweet. With EOD, DC and Forgotten hope all being pretty damn good mods. MOH was a pretty average single player experiance IMO and I dunno if it has much of an online presence. (somone will have to answer that for me) IMO youll get better longevity out of BF1942 and more fun with the mods that are coming out. ... My 2C. :) |

Get whichever one your going to get more "replay" out of, no use gettin something, finishing it then putting it in the corner, its totally up to you i mean if you need a forum to make your mind up and for us to tell you YOUR tastes in gaming maybe you need to be locked in a room without light or something EVERYONE has their own game tastes, or you one of those ppl that buys games just cause everyone else is?

hey, i enjoyed halo on the Xbox and i wanna play halo co-op with a couple of my mates on the PC Heh, so I guess you haven't heard? Theres no co-op in Halo on PC :( But yeah, it was pretty cool on XBox. The music in it was awesome, I dont think it'd be half the game it was without that music, it really added a lot of atmosphere. |

what kinda specs you reckon you'll need for halo... cause somehow i dont think my AMD 1ghz, 384 sd ram, *gforce 3 ti-500* will stand much of a chance of running it =(
Time for an upgrade for sure. |

Get whichever one your going to get more "replay" out of, no use gettin something, finishing it then putting it in the corner how the fuk am i suposed to figure that out when i havnt played either game, thats why i asked the bloody question. so i can GET AN IDEA of either game. |

If you must pick out of those two, go Allied Assault.
BF1942 is a great game made crap by shoddy implementation. Still fun doing funny s*** at a LAN with it though. Note: my vote was based on the fact that I like single player games more than multiplayer, and that the BF1942 engine is balls. |

My vote goes to mohaa, although neither game is that great imo. Single player mohaa was decent (bf1942 single is absolute rubbsih) and multiplayer isnt too bad either, at least better than bf1942 imo.
Spook, each to his own. You mightnt see any problems with 1942, but myself and quite a lot of others arent that impressed by it. Granted i havent played for a long time and they may have fixed some of the problems but my main issues with it are: - shoddy implementation of 1 on 1 machine gun battles. Vehicle on vehicle battles are done well, but on foot it feels like youre carrying a popgun and 1 on 1 fights are just random. Overall just dont like the way on foot physics etc have been implemented. - boredom. So many times you find yourself trekking from one side of a map to another, with no one willing to pick you up in a vehicle. Finally you make it to flag you wanted to cap and then discover its already been capped seconds before you got there and its now time to trapse back to the other end of the map, fun! - other players. Granted most online games are riddled with tards, but bf1942 seems to have carried on from cs in attracting the best of the best. thats about all i can be bothered coming up with atm, im sure if i reinstalled it i could bring up a few more. |
