I know after watching 8 Mile i liked the sound of Papa Datt's name and hence i thought that was going to be my nick. Then Changed to Pluck Me Dead cause i got sick of it and i was in a F*ck Me Dead mood.

I nearly also forgot to mention that in skirmish i used to luv "Plucking" People and hence the "Pluck" in my nick......

Im curious to know about how other people actually came up with thier QGL nicknames. It'd be interesting to find out about names like Trog, Hemerage, Rubba Chicken, Persay and the rest...

(Then I started crapping on about how mad monkeys are after I read how they gave one monkey pocket money each week, they gave it a keyboard to talk to the scientists..

Duno just had this name. There is no reason for it any significance in it at all. I've been using either this or Assassin stince I started play games way back. Just nicks and have no meaning or history :)

Manshoon.....stole it from a Forgotten Realms book. ALways been into the AD&D stuff so I figured it was good. When I first started on the net I used Slayer....that was on an old telnet talker I used back in Uni.....then some tool came on and abused me (after I had been there nearly 9 months) for using HIS nick.

I gave him a chance to get it....I nuked my character and he had 10 seconds to make a new one as Slayer before a friend of mine who was an admin permanently banned the name. I won :). Been Manshoon ever since....except to a few friends who remember me as Slayer and still call me by that name.

On CS I used Manshoon till some tool came on all l337 speak so I changed to 4nk8r for a while. If ya cant figure out what 4nk8r is.....Ill spell it out in the letters (as in 4 is four and 8 is eight) and then say it.

My nick sorta just built itself. It was once Toll Booth Willy. Nice and long and stood out amongst the other ordinary nicks. But too many people called me TollBooth, why they didnt call me Willy I Dont know ( probably too lazy to read the whole nick ;p )

But Toll isnt enough. At one stage j0r was a little word that I thought was .. j0r. So going with the 0r part I went with ... Tollaz0r!
Gota have the ! on the end. Also I like to picture a dodgy old T-Rex (Throw in a bit of trogdor the burninator and you'll have a good idea) when I think of Tollaz0r!.
Tollasleep, Tollcraft, Tollagone, Tollawhatever.. The nick works well for IRC and other things where you sorta modify your nick to partly describe what you are doing.

O and it is compleatly and utterly unique, a diffinate + in my books.
