Hey guys,

I just came back from EB. I went in to ask about Star Wars Galaxies out June 26th.

It seems the screwed up another mmog. They cant get the servers to sync globaly and they will only be focussing on people in North America and ASIA (not our part). This means that you have to check the payment schemes and available access (if they allow australia addresses to access server).

This is most probably because they have about 500,000 fans and can only get a small portion of them in North America and ASIA online let alone make a gobal galaxie.

Anyways hope this makes people wait before they rush out. If you are going to buy the game email them and find out all the details.

The game is pretty crap in my opinion anyway, I'll wait for the Space Expansion before I consider getting it.

I think we should have a general warning out for everyone who plans to buy an MMORPG: "Warning if you purchase this game you will no longer have a life".

That's usually the reason people buy MMORPGs to tell you the truth

I have a life ... my wife allocates me a portion each day ;)

but if you play these sort of games you'd better have DSL or better or you will really have no life after a cable dude will crush you like a bug.

They seem to be getting things under control now. They had such a huge influx of people that they didnt quite expect.

I wouldn't wait until the expansion pack. By the time it comes out you will need your character to be a certain level with a fair bit of money to buy or hire space craft.
