Voodoo Extreme have an interview with id Software artist and co-founder/owner Kevin Cloud about their collaborative efforts with Gray Matter Studios on revamping Wolfenstein.

One of the hottest game we've seen at E3 the last couple of years is Activision's Return to Castle Wolfenstein, which is the sequel to one of id Software's finest first person shooters that started it all. Developed by id in conjunction with Gray Matter Studios (whom you may recall used to be named Xatrix Studios and made Kingpin) Return to Castle Wolfenstein could be one of the biggest smash hits of the year. We (JCal and myself) had a chance to chat with id Software artist and co-founder/owner Kevin Cloud who is the point man between id and Gray Matter on the game. Enjoy!

Wolfenstein only had real charm cause it was the first and broke all the rules and pioneered a new gaming industry which now dominates most of the games market. But there is that many good and funky games coming out that it doesnt matter bout that s***. IT will have to be f***in awesome for it to do as well as the first and I doubt it, although it will get some old die hard fans buying it just "because" .

Oh well shooting nazi f*****s is fun and the old skewl weapons are good for a change.
