IIRC the reason why QGL no longer have access to the lights, is because we (and ANZ) can't waiver people falling down stairs in the dark and taking legal action.

They do this at gameserve SEIGE, but they only dim them, not enough to trip over anything.

Heh, if you had the lights out at QGL you'd have enough mood lighting from all the modded cases around to easily identify thieves and avoid cabling. Just get people to put their CCFLs outside their case and save money by not having to have the lights on :)

actually i remember reading an article not so long ago that talked about an english town trialling a system where they actually turned off all the street lights after 9pm or something based on the principle that it'd then be too dark for theives to see what they are doing, from memory it worked
