dod - when i connect to a server, my mouse isnt responsive about %50 of the time. like i will move it left and it goes left but then just stops, and i have to replace it on the mat and slap it a bit.

this only happens within the first 10-20 mins of a game but for that time it prevents me from using the Light guy or the sniper dood effectively. and flicks are shocking so all i can do is move the mouse like keyboard speed and spray.

im using win2k, logitech drivers 9.00.99, tried res 1024@85hz 800@100hz and 640@120hz and no difference,

the thing is it doesnt do it in a cs server or anything - just my dod ?!?

any help appreciated
thx fork

while yer there - my logitech usb gets a 1 second "lag" in hl whenever i'm going thru a tight corridor or looking thru a sniper scope.

anyone found an effective workaround to this.

i luuurve my mouse, and would hate to have to ditch it.

Via mobo, win2k.

problem does not exist in win98.

any help apreciated

ok, try

m_filter 1
sensitivity 5.5
m_forward 0

a3d DOES lag you, only good for lanning.

dod is laggy becayse the textures are very detailed and they didnt think of making them smaller. and the models are FPS eaters.

ok hope i helped. sensitivity is a main thing.

and no im not going to change it to usb. too hard to get used to - even tho i highly doubt thats the prob.
