Hey guys.

I'm after a nice dvd player and have no idea whatso ever about which one to get. It needs to be able to play SVCD's and CDR's. Which do you recommend. Also is it possible to get 3 disc players. Like how ya get 5 disc cd players and the like.

thx :)

I too have a Voxson one and it's very good. It has Dolby 5.1 surround sound, optical outputs and all that stuff (not that I'll ever use it but handy to have). Also note that most of the more expensive players are very difficult to play region-free DVDs.

BTW, SVCDs and VCDs are more trouble to create than they are worth. Simply converting a DIVX to a SVCD will take AGES on most computers.

i got the X-Logic one at crazy clarks...before you laugh it has 5.1 sound, plays CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, blah blah (heaps more), when you hack it you can change the region etc, awesome player at the price...(if i had the cash i would buy a dearer one but at $150 you can't beat it!)

Get Daeos in here, he works at megamart selling DVD players and the like. My family's got a pioneer 5cd dvd/cd/vcd player with a 5.1 surround sound system, around $1k
