anyone looking to sell a 17" flat monitor...@ a decent price say $200

mate bought a new flat LG for 270 something a coupla weeks ago

s*** refresh rates, but for that price what do you expect

Try the auctions.. i got my 17inch from the auctions at Northgate and i only paid about $100 i think, and i've never had a problem with it

Auctions are generally a rip-off (people pay ridiculous prices for old, outdated and crappy stuff).

As Funk Puppet said, but also because Umart is more reliable than GD.

um I'd rather buy for service and know that I can get s*** fixed...

Technically most monitors (including Samsung) have onsite warranty from the monufacturer's service centres.... But even so I wouldn't give my money to GD(or waiting the F#@$ing que for that matter at GD).

I don't want to go off topic or start a GD-bashing thread but I honestly don't see why people bother travelling miles out of their way (wasting a lot of fuel) just to save a couple of bucks.

look how expensive COMPUTER ALLIANCE is, and people say they are a great store, you pay for more you get more quality, this is bulls***, they are dodgy c***s. kthxbi.

Get a samsung 753DX they are like $236...

i recently just bought a 17 unch benq does 160hz @ 640 and 85 herts @ 1280 it cost 249.00

That's what I have and I'm very happy with it.

I purchased a Samsung 753DFX last week and I'm really happy with it. The 0.20 dotpitch is nice, and it doesn't have bad refresh rates either (no crappy 60 Hz rates kthxbi).

the $279 one was recommended to me, i was about to buy it, but bought smarts 19" Samsumg Syncmaster 955DF instead, mmmm mmmm 19" goodness :D


other choice would be the 17" syncmaster 753DX from gaydude
