skitza why did you block out the plates? It is not like anyone can do much with plates other than hunt you down and stalk you for the rest of your life.

the neo bit is just to make it more environmentaly friendly as i'm told. might prolly some decrease in performace as a result.
they aren't a bad buy thou (GT-T's). roughly 40k with tyres |

meh, the Infini RX7's are similar to the 180sx's from the front, but I'd rather be deafened by a V8 thankyou! Love the flat sound from a Ford V8, ugh.hg..h (salivates on keyboard).. |

could have a got a RX-7 series 5-6 for that money. 40k? That car cost him 14k. As for quick, its 180hp at the wheels, wherever that fits on your quickness scales. |

well so far i've found its got the same power as a GT-R ie 280 HP at fly wheel/ 206kw and does 0-100km/hr in 6 seconds. not bad for a sorta detuned car.
Mind you go thru some twistes and the gtr will leave it for dead becos of its AWD. |

You mean just series 6 (ie. 3rd gen - you can't really get later series 7 or 8 models here though), series 5 RX-7's aren't that much - they're only a small iteration after the series 4.
You could get a decent condition series 6 (seem to start at about $30k) and do some decent stuff to it for $40k (rebuild/porting/'cooler/management/exhaust etc). My S4 cost $9k (a bit too much for it's condition in retrospect) and has had mebbe $6k in mods, mostly due to a much needed rebuild (exhaust/management/intake/porting/rebuild). It's good fun but the real cost is filling it up every week, mileage varies from 15-30l/100km (but there's something wrong with it still obviously). |

My friend bought the exact same car with a Tommy kaira kit for 38k, but yeah with that money i'd rather get a r33 GTR or a series 6-7 rx7.

hey [_cRaYmAn_], you said you like the sound of a V8, i agree, but then you said ford....*shudder*....that sound would only last as long as the warranty before the whole s***ty ford engine caves in....

that sound would only last as long as the warranty before the whole s***ty ford engine caves in.... Hahahahaha.... I think you meant holden there you poofter... Fords are at least half decent, well the new ones are anyway. Mind you go thru some twistes and the gtr will leave it for dead becos of its AWD. Lol... how gay for a car to have to rely in 4wd to make it handle well. A series 6 RX7 will rape ass through corners and it is rear drive. I was watching Targe NZ the other day and it was won by a Series 6, ahead of a bunch of Porches including a current model 911 turbo and Skylines and WRX's. And look back at the GTP races in the early 90's... RX7 won again and again. AWD is for fags who can't drive :) |

I gotta say though that if i had $100k or so to blow on a car it'd be a modified 3rd gen RX-7 in a circuit racing type setup.
