Actually, its a bit more, I rang up and booked the other day. Sure, 4 people can go in a room, but theres an extra charge per person over 2 people. For each extra person theres a $25 a night charge, so for 3 people its about $130 a night and for 4 people, $155 a night.

Still, considering the motel, a damn good deal nonetheless. I'm going down and spending the friday night there too, so I can get a good nights sleep friday night and not have to do a drive to the coast at some godawful early hour saturday :)

I booked yesterday and they said they hadn't got the room prices for the "ANZAC LAN Conference" up yet. They said they had confirmed a spot and would ring me later today.

I was told $105 and an extra $22 bucks for each additional person (max 4 in a room)

I will sort that s***.

I was also told $105 + $22 pp over two to a max of four.

I've booked the room at that price, and I'll be staying both Friday night and Saturday night.

On a side note, how many of the SAS crew are keen for clubbing at The Drink/Party on Saturday night?

I'm going no-matter what, and I plan not to sleep before Sunday and still kick everyone's arse in the CS clan comp :)

Allright, here's the deal... Each room contains 2 Double Beds and a fold out. So if you ring and book a room for yourself you'll get it for $105, but there'll be room for four.

You're all probably thinking, no way, we can get 5 in!

Don't push your luck, if the night manager hears drunken revelry and comes a knockin' to find more than 4 in there... you're out!! Do not pass go etc...

The easy and honest way is to pay the extra per person... but what we don't know... just don't get busted 'cause it'll seriously affect future LANs at such venues. Word travels quick in the Hotel industry.

Say 20 team show up, and now that you still have the sponsor, will the prize money increase over the $1200?

$1200 split 6 ways isn't very much money, and barely covers our costs for the weekend. In our case it will be split 8 ways due to the extra members...

Do you know where I can find any information on this New Zealand Clan that is coming over to compete (the colosseum website doesn't have anything)?

I've got to agree, would the cash prize pool be able to raise some more now. DeePer's right how it will hardly cover the cost for most ppl going. Would be good if it can be raised.

Just on the question of minimum numbers, whats the minimums for the various comps? If this info is available on the Gameserve site, just let me know and I'll go look it up myself, else whats the minimum numbers for the Rune, TFC and MW4 comps? How likely is it looking that the minimums will be met?

It doesn't matter for the other comps - as long as there's more than two teams/players it'll go ahead.

Maybe, I'd say it'll be more an on-the-day thing though. Seeing as I dont really have a team/clan that I regularly play in, it'll be more a case of whether or not I can hook up with some others on the day :)
