rtcw!! 49.95 for the goty edition. Single player isnt anything special but the multiplayer (if you give it a chance) is the best there is atm.

NOLF2 is good single player, but zero online action locally.

I can vouch for all the games mentioned so far. NOLF2 is a special case as i'm playing it now, it sure takes a while to get through - good to see some strong single player games coming out. Now we just need good, new, different RTS :) (WC3 aint so hot)

probably either UT2K3 or BF1942 - which depends on whether you like old-school DM type games, or more strategic team-oriented games.

LOL! UT2003 may be the same old s***. But it's the same old s*** done REALLY well ;)

Now I'm back on broadband I'm feeling more and more drawn back towards the UT/Q3 style of gameplay as opposed to the campie/snipie gameplay of CS/BF1942. Although I must say the flexibility and variety of BF1942 is impressive.

yeah I was most disapointed when I found out that UT2003 does not have any serverside cd key authentication :(
