Ive just been on a TPG cs server and some f***tard was using the wallhack. it brought to mind two things

1) HTF do you get around all this valve anti cheating software

and

2) what drives people do be so f***ed up? i dont see how getting a high score makes people happy. I dont know- obiously they have no f***ing lives and get their jollys of wining by cheating

its a f***ing joke.. complete bulls***..

this is just repeating wat other people have already said but anyways,

i think we should line all cheaters up in a row (sort of like a nazi death camp eh?) and take careful aim with an awp, so as to save money and time on the lmae people of gaming.

There is no possible way of getting rid of cheaters, it's just a matter of time before some person finds a way around the Quake 3 protection.

There is, get a decent admin, and they will kick people (or ban their won addresses. Also, created private games to play with your friends, just like people are doing in bf1942.

You have missed the point. A good chunk of them dont care about their score, only the wierd cheaters do, the ones who use the same nick and play in wars and s***.

The big majority of them do it because they find it fun. Chances are they do have a life and just sit down and have a bash on the computer every now and then. Others just do it to 'Rage' you, like your doing just now, AH HA HA you fell right into the cheaters trap.

Now, you coulda just banded the server together and votekick him out...

O I forgot, then there are the people who are playing normally and are just good, that people call a cheat. Simply because they cant belive that another person is beating them in such a way.

a big step towards no cheats or a lot less cheating in CS would be to have "pure" servers like Q3 does,
but for some reason valve are too gay to accept that solution and refuse to implement it.

I know a guy who cheats at CS, he doesn't take cs seriously or anything, he doesn't even pretend he's playing for real, he just does it because it's fun.

fella at my school cheats - says he recently joined myg0t, cheats regularly on GA servers under different cdkeys and aliases - he says he does it because it's fun to piss people off. he's promised me he'll never play on AusGamers servers, so im happy :P

yeah, it's probably not a cheat in the game as such, rather hax0rd drivers. I used to have them just to see what all the fuss was, made it almost impossible to see the walls so I dunno htf ur meant to move around a map. Fortunately I hate windows 98 and I don't have the 2k version so ur all safe :)

Note: I can quite accurately track people thru walls at close range just using sound, ur welcome to watch me @ qgl if u want but I'm sure it's not that hard if I can do it. Just get a decent pair of headphones & sound card with eax/a3d or whatever.

Probably because not enough people voted, Good Work to CS for having no player feedback for Votes. Only the Votemap has a little tiny bit of feedback, you can look at how many votes a map has using listmaps.

This is one of the greatest problems. People calling other people cheats, not due to evidence, but just because they think they do.
I'm sure if people stoped acusing people of cheating left right and center the problem will be less then what it currently is..

i was on 30-3 today, and the next person on my team was on like 8-4. I didnt get called a cheat. But i quit when Pharcyde stepped out the double doors on aztec and awped me with his arm.

He obviously didnt use his arm to shoot you. Remember everything you see on your client viewscreen is a PREDICTION of what the server sees, they wont always match. GET OVER IT.

my mate useed to do something to the models in CS. instead of seeing the actual skin of a ct or t it was 2 boxes, one was a lighter colour than the other and one was for the head and one was 4 the body. it was like he turned the detail down on just the skins... weird.

no commands ... itd be a custom model

yer so your Aimbot can lock onto the colours of the model much easier. Old versions of aimbots used colour detection to find the models..

Now they just use info that is sent across the network to find were a player is..

I belive the plain truth is that CS players are filled up with whiny cocksucking fags, and when ever the rest of the gaming populations finds a game, we get a week or two before its filled up with whiny cocksucking CS fags who ruin the total enjoyment of the game.

The brilliant minds including, TKers, people who don't understand basic gameplay elements (LIKE CAPTURE THE f***ING SPAWN POINT d*******!), d*******s who want to be pilots but suck ... even if that means blowing up other people in planes if they missed out.

These people where very rare in begining of the online gaming world, and good times where had. Now they are inundate servers with there faggyness. Turning mature players away from servers.

Of course then the servers are just filled with whiny cocksucking fags (because everyone else has gone to do something else) they all retrete to CS, because now it is evident that the game isn't fun anymore, because everyone is being a whiny cocksucking fag to other whiny cocksucking fags.

Now the brillance of this statement is that it only offends CS players who are whiny cocksucking fags (the majority of CS pllayers). So if you post having a huge cry about my statement, we know that you are one of the people who generaly make online games suck wang.

Being a spammer like me is okay. However cheating is obviously for people lacking something in the l337n355 department! Being the crap CS player that I am I hate cheaters ruining it even more for me. But we mustn't forget the people who are actually good at CS who are constantly blamed for cheating and are banned from servers under false conviction. Playing CS in 512x384 @ 20fps is quite normal for me and on 28k it looks like all ADSL players are cheating! NOT WHINING, but bottom line is cheaters suck, and CS has gone downhill ever since. not really. I played tf long long time ago, and used to give the characters new skins. not to make them more visible, but just so that they'd look cooler. And with cs (before it turned into the gayfest that it is now), I'd change the guns to other models (and none of them spiky ones either) just because I prefer one rifle to another... Just how and why you modify the game....

Exactly Fish.. i modified the sights of the rifle and all i get now is a rather large non transparent grey box where the sight should be. Cant use rifle sights now. not happy. lol

Well, I hope you guys have tried the modify your gun model/sound experiament.

Replace your Scout firing noise with a much beefier noise, such as the AWP noise, then run around with it and see how you go..

Do the same with Glock, replace it with a beefier looking/sounding gun and see how it goes.
Or for better effects (for me anyway) is to grab the p228 and get its models and sound changed to a Deagle or something tough, it feels like the gun does more damage and so you are more confident with it, which usually means you're more likly to spend a little extra time aiming it up (more confidence) so it will seem to do more damage then usual.

Try going the other way, grab your AK and make it sound like a pea shooter then watch how it seems to take more to kill people (seems).

By changing your models and sound you can give yourself a better or lower psychological advantage, not too much, but it is still there.

So if you havnt tried it yet, grab at least the Scout and p228 and change em to be much tougher looking AND sounding, then watch the frags come in, for a while then you get used to it and treat the guns like normal (I think).

Ill be right. I already play against realbot AI, and they are as hard as online players but i feel no need to cheat.

Its like in GTA3, i had a hell load of phun playing that.. then i found out that cheats and it became to easy to finish everything. I dont see any need to cheat, even against bots.
