im getting desperate now.....
i gotta back up my hdd...=-(

anyone know of one that WORKS???
i got and had nero 5..and i DONT WORK...
and the integrated buring software in xp DOES NOT SUPPORT MULTISESSION!!! also it f***s all the files....
=-(

please HELP!!!!!!!!!

well yeah... it detects my burner and everything is cool.. but when i go to burn it gets about 2-5% through the simulation then has some aspi error..
even if im burnin off my hdd..

try download the aspi files i can't remember where but you can get files for win2k that do something to aspi

Had same problem. Depending on what motherboard you have it could be the via drivers...use 4in1 4.29(v) or get the very latest Nero "backup" style. Or download the aspi files (coz Win2k doesnt come with an aspi layer) like everyone else said. Or you Adaptec programs because they come with an aspi layer.

ok here is what it says:

- SCSI/ATAPI Command timeout
- Invalid writestate
- Could Not perform Endtask

yeah... i got the via-4-in-1 4.28
so i'll try the 4.29
i got a aspi layer specially designed for win xp.. well so im told anyway...

I had problem with 4.28....4.29 solved them.

Write back and tell me if it does....tho you may have to reformat again to rid yourself completely of 4.28.
