are there any 'cable tweaks' out there that might improve the performance of the cable or even speed it up?

There are a couple of programs available that tweak your computers registry and apparently 'speed up' your cable connection. I have tried one or two of them and in my opinion they don't make a difference. Download speeds and in game pings were the same as they were before installing the program.

Bah, SIck of ppl complaining about cable speeds, Its like any isp, get too many users on and your bandwidth is gonna suck. Stop complaining about what you haven't got and deal with what you do have, ooher
