Ha good luck outsmarting forensic police - after watching almost every single discovery documentary (in particular, crime nights) I can safely say that its nearly impossible to create the "perfect crime".

Whats that got to do with anything? I think what hunter was getting at, was the fact that you leave something at the site, or take something with you wherever you go. The technology is there, the people just have to have the skills.
And why are you abusing him so much for that? Thats not really neccesary is it? |

Forensic scientists don't just investigate homocides... True, but the police, ESPECIALLY THE QLD police, rarely goto that much effort on non-homicide cases, unless its a major drug bust... |

Thats not really neccesary is it? umm heehee.. moron.. f***stick :D:D sorry dude. the fact of the matter is, they only put cases on crime night where they catch the criminals! how many unsolved missing persons are there in the usa, quite a number id imagine.. how many of them would have been the perfect crime, lots. how many bodies are buried, sunken burned without trace each year... so you are wrong. the perfect murder is a reality, we only hear about it when they f*** up. |

Some of those cases are solved 25 years later... it is foolish to think that you can plan a crime and expect noone to ever solve it because that RARELY happens.
Burnt bodies? I hate to break it to you but even burning a body won't destroy it... not even a crematorium furnace can destroy human bones - they are crushed up in a machine afterwards and mixed in with the other ash. |

They don't need a body to prove a crime that's just something Hollywood made up for their own purposes.

yes, SOME are solved 25 yrs later.. but that still leaves many unsolved. perfect murders..
why couldnt you burn a body to nothing.. concrete will burn at high enough temperatures.. what makes you think the human body is so different. |

Uh... not even a CREMATORIUM can burn human bones so where do you think you're going to find a furnace to do it? If its anyone who had the means to do it you would think a god damn CREMATORIUM would. Look, the only crimes that don't go unsolved are the ones that noone knows have occured. Fact is that most crimes, if they are known about will be solved - there are too many variables for you to control. |

What if you put the body in a air tight box (water filled to prevent the box from being crushed and floating the body to the surface) and dump it in the middle of the pacific...

Those had nothing to do with police bungles you fool... OJ got off because of courtroom antics, NOT due to a lack of forensic evidence... The Ramsey case is also subject to legal antics, not evidence.
Bzzz. Wrong. Not even a house fire is hot enough... and you would be amazed at what arson investigators can determine...
Oh yeah I forgot steel mills regularly let people with body-shaped objects into the furnace areas... |

What if you put the body in a air tight box (water filled to prevent the box from being crushed and floating the body to the surface) and dump it in the middle of the pacific... Then you might as well entice someone onto your boat, take them into international waters where you have the power of god, and kill them for some crime you make up on the spot. |

Ever heard of Spontaneous Combustion? That burns bones, and scientists have worked out how to recreate the effect.
"The wick effect" as they call it, involves wrapping the body in heavy cloth, setting it alight and keeping it in a rather high temperature until it burns to dust. If anyone's ever watched any murder-ralated things (Crime night, on the Discovery Channel), they may have seen cases where people HAVE burnt the bones completely and still gotten prosecuted - That's in American though. |

of course theres lots of unsolved crimes.
btw, if any of u watch CSI it's a complete load of s*** : ) One of my uni tutors is an old cop. tears shreds off it every week without fail. pretty funny. "that csi crap...bloody hollywood...absolute s***. if u believe that u'll believe anything..." hah. but yeah unless hunter or ad is planning a murder, why bother arguing about the "perfect crime." I'm sure a lot of people in jail believed they had executed the perfect crime too... |

CSI is without a doubt the worst show on tele. (ive ranted before about this, but im going to do it again)
Crime Night is excellent, interesting and fun to watch, but apparenlty thats not enuff for ppl. They need corny, cheesy dialogue, ridiculous plots and dodgy acting to make it more exciting (ie CSI) Me and woman watch crime nite all the time and we saw an episode the other nite that had the main dude from CSI (William L. Petersen) in it as an extra. Now a couple of years later he's turned up as the main star and producer of CSI. He's obviously seen a good idea and gone the major cashin on it (laughing all the way to the bank) *sigh* ppl are dumb. |

Hmmm...
Perhaps someone should file a class action against the little sub-15 year old idiots who are challenging the Queensland Gamers League's decision to not allow them to attend QGL events. I believe that the Classifications Charges Act makes allowances to charge the end users... and I recall from legal training that the QGL administrators are well within their rights to sue any person under the age of 15 who enters the venue. Perhaps a legal action against some pimple faced CS-guru would make for interesting reading on the website of the Federal Department of Justice and Attorney-General? |
