Well over the last night i have goten auscars off the ground, we currently have 3 staff memebers, Suhaib, Bucket & Morgish. We have a chat channel, irc.enterthegame.com #auscars. We are waiting on Ausgamers staff to reply for hosting of this site, we will need a couple more people to post pics of cars and movies.

seems like every man and his dog has a chat room, and it's the same people in all the chatrooms, making it rather redundant to chat in several places to the same people who are in the main channel.

Because it gets hard to follow the conversation when there's about 50 of them going at once, all on totally different topics.

I have about ... 1.4Gb of wicked car videos .. Top gear reviews, burn outs, street drifting, crashes, illegal racing etc .. If you want to put em somewhere I am more than happy to upload to the shell.

Norak: I think some of those videos (in particular the Top Gear ones) would violate the Ausgamers hosting policy.

Unfortunate, I know, coz Top Gear rocks and I want to see more stuff from it.

we hope to host some of the stuff off a server on o@h, that way the uploads dont count to a limit, i will be able to give u info on where to launch the stuff later tonight, if u can join the channel

Nearly all the videos I have are homemade / amateur. And yes the acts in the videos may be illegal, but it ISN'T illegal to tape the acts, and it ISN'T illegal to market/distrute them.

The one i liked was the guy who raced his ferrari across paris in like 10 minutes or something. That's more than just some nutter doing illegal s***, it was all planned and well executed.
