I have this ghey old Mitsubisi 1554 (15") from when I bought my computer and for the last 3 months I have the same problem over and over. My monitor turns pink because the green in the video stops showing.

Last time i took it to Mitsubshi's people in my area (ITEC), instead of their usual, (re-solder dry joints on the neck board) they replaced the cord, I thought it might work but now, I have a new problem. I now have an orange area to the right of my screen, a green area to the left and a normal area in the middle. The picture is also slightly tiled diagonally. The orange is the part that bothers me because its so visible that the right half of the QGL page is a strong orange colour now instead of blue.

According to ITEC, Mitsuishi has a policy of only fixing monitors and not replacing them (A WARNING TO MONITOR BUYERS).

Anyway, I have come to the forum to pleed to anyone who might have had this problem happen to them before to TELL ME WHATS WRONG so that I can tell ITEC whats wrong.

Thanks

Nah man - on a race track a GTR would f***ing own it, off road the STi would be better, maybe in a drag, but on a race track few cars can touch a GTR. The Lancer is like exactly the same as the 22B. Last time Wheels compared them the power was the same (Jap limit) but the Lancer had more torque.

The lancers are easily as good as the WRX's mate. Its not a matter of "removing the limiter", they are not "limited" as such, but are designed to output that much, maybe a shade more. TO get more power you increase boost, new exhaust, reflow heads etc etc. The thing I understand the least is that you think the new Impreza's are sexy... everyone I have ever met thinks they are even uglier than the new Falcons and Commodores.. and that is really saying something!!

U mean the really new ones?
I hate them
I like the 99 models
not 2001
they suck
though they look similar to the legacies
I like them
and the B4 is a worked version
so tis true the new rex sucks

wats the use of having a real powerful car anyway, it means you can rarley go slow, and also you cant speed well at least by too much in Australia anyway...

I dont disagree with having a powerful car but all these lancers and japanese s***s are on higher octane fuel right?

No. Lancers etc run on the same fuel as every other car... how would they run on Aussie fuel otherwise? You need a more powerful car to get out of situations if needs be.
