SO has anyone had any experience with Telstras ADSL service? Mainly the 256/64 one? Is it any good. I mean I am on Dialup now, so is it worth upgrading too - I wanna play the odd game but mainly for general web browsing and downloading po.. I mean mp3s :)

the main problem is you get routed through melbourne some guys i've seen on the optus server with 50 pings but they are down south
i've heard in some areas you can get it and they havn't put the capping stuff into the exchange yet and people were getting over 500k/sec up and down

Unlike you guys I am not obsessed with pings, I mainly care about dling and general browsing speed. Is that stuff about it being still uncapped atm true?? If so I am getting it!!
