Topic: stinky's kitchen request: awesome desserts

So I found this while searching for a post by our resident chef
I'd like to know more about that, but what I'm really after was a one off reply I think stinky made to someone else who hijacked one of his threads with some kind of slice (caramel or chocolate, I cant remember)

stinky detailed a reply which was like "chuck in peanut butter, nuts, yada yada" and bake for an hour
but yeah, I can't find it

also welcome is any other dessert ideas, my mrs wants to bake and I'm still not fat enough to work from home (neffo)

lol, linked to a Kat thread with the OP removed (and somehow thread wasn't locked...) - crazy!

teq, I thought you were a big dude - shouldn't you lay off the cakes, bro? Energy in/Energy out and all that. Maybe your missus is a Feeder - better watch out.

I am all about desserts. But if you want suggestions, it's easier if you say what kind of things you like. Most of the stuff I make is ridiculously chocolatey, so if you want that kind of thing, my first suggestion would be triple chocolate brownie. You can google the recipe easily enough (womans weeky recipe), and they taste like chocolate heaven.

speaking of making stuff. I was watching fatties struggle to lose weight on th ebiggest loser and they have a segment where they teach you about making healthy meals. most of them are pretty s*** but this one peaked my interest:
http://www.thebiggestloser.com.au/tandoori-chicken-pumpkin-mash.htm

if you are trying to lose weight the biggest loser site is pretty good because the recipes are healthy and they give you all the calorie content etc in a nice table.

+1 for Triple Choc Brownies
I've discovered them at a patisserie, I never liked brownies before, but this chef does them so well, they are all nice and soft and almost gooey. I used to think brownies were a hard lump of dry s***.

Hmm, that doesn't seem too fat. Where do you sit on the BMI scale? What do you weigh?

Greazy, great dish. The major problem is the amount of ingredients required. I strongly believe people do not eat healthy because it takes so much preparation to make. This is a deterrent and tasty, healthy meals can be made with a few ingredients.

Dessert? Bread and butter pudding is freaking amazing!

You know the BMI scale is based on an old survey of one village in Belgium, it means pretty much nothing, particularly if you're not from that village. Studies show it doesn't give realistic information about what you should weigh or how your health is or anything like that.

No matter how many statistics you gather I doubt you could make the idea work accurately.

yeah BMI is useless for me, I'm 150kg
if I was to be a 25 on the bmi scale, I'd be dangerously under weight

here you go, this pics a few years old now but it shows me when I was 140kg, I'm just bulkier now @ 150kg

That stuff is WAY too rich Faceman... and the flavour isn't even that great.

It's good to have around because it goes a long way in thickshakes and s*** but IMO it's just hyped up a lot and is quite average /shrug.

Yeah, I have to concur, deep fried icecream is f***ing awesome. I'm not much of a desert person, but I'll always make an exception for deep fried icecream.

Seven: when I watched the episode the preparation didn't too much (for the chicken only). But you are right there are lots of ingredients, I'm sure you can find them at woolies.
