So how about that outage hey? I don't care if this forum is designed to withstand 2450 hits per second or 1.5 million visitors per day, if government can get it right why can't the private sector keep up a simple forum??

The real question is, what are people doing awake at that hour.

we'll be doing some work in the near future to solidify this platform a little more. historically it's not been a priority but several months ago we (or was it just me? I dunno) decided to ramp it up a bit. unfortunately client work and playing left4dead2 tends to get in the way and not a lot has been done yet. well, hardware-wise it has, but migrating services across still needs to be done. it'll all be virtualised and made fault tolerant, other than the incoming network feed itself

I bet the error code in the logs even translates to "Adminstrator played too much Left 4 Dead 2"

I love the attitude of I.T workers.
"We'll get round to it". Reminds me of so many people at work. |

I love the attitude of I.T workers. I saw a t-shirt once that summarised the typical day to day in IT. It said: "No worries, just give me a minute to drop everything else and work on your problem." |
