So I've noticed a few people in the L4D2 threads who also hate the AI, and I figured, in the interests of trying to get everyone hooked up so we've all got as many random people on our Friends' lists to pull into games as possible, people could spam their Steam usernames in this thread.

So if you're playing MW2 or L4D2 or something else and want to be added by random people on Steam who may also be playing the same things you are, stick your username in a post and feel more loved as your friends list grows.

And to start the ball rolling mine is..... Khel. Bet you didn't see that coming.

I added khel and all I got was some dirty chat about elf on dwarf DVDA ...

yea when it was first released you weren't forced to change from WON. I shoulda got it on day 1 and ebayed my account for large dollars. CS players are paying big dollars to buy steam epenis.

it used to be a pretty painful application to use but by the time l4d came around and I actually wanted to play a game through it, it was a lot better

It is simple really, they pick whoever is the best at online FPS games and give it to them. This week I achieved the best in Australia status at cod6 which is quite good considering I never played a cod before. Then after the weekend I achieved the best Kill:Death ratio in l4d2 and saved all my noob team mates like strex many times.

1) browse to http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=uk
2) log in using your normal steam account
3) Buy the game for yourself
4) Change your country when paying at the checkout to United Kingdom (you can leave all the other Aussie details as is)
5) An open as window should appear where you can click OK to add it to steam (I don't think this part is necessary, but just saying what I did)
6) You now have the uncut version (at least I'm playing the uncut demo, so presumably this means the full version will be uncut)

What this does is adds all there servers to your list when you run L4D2. then all you do is join empty server and add ya freinds.. simple... from there you can choose to restart the game and change the difficult level.

best ping I've had if from some random up on the Sunny Coast who lans with his mates on the weekend. ~50 ping - still the best I've seen.

I average a 80 ping to my server in Adelaide, which is good enough.
