I know there's a few threads about MW2 on here already but I think this warrants its own.

None of this appears to be confirmed however it's worth keeping it in mind if you are playing it online.

haha, Peer-to-Peer multiplayer, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?!?!

Malicious hosts infecting guests? No, surely not - say it isn't so! People only modify games to put in useful features like a console, IWNet bypass and aimbots/wallhacks... right?

Valid point. If there's anything I'm more cynical about than P2P MP, it's heuristic-based Virus detection:

In order to aggravate detection and reduce size of the file it is packed with a runtime packer.

Oh, it MUST be a virus then. What's the heuristic - signature scan? Couldn't possibly be harmless binary data in %tmp%.
