iselect is such a scam - it only compares like 3 funds that you've never heard of (probably all the same company) and they're all more expensive and s***ter than the well known companies.

Sure is.. as someone who works in the health insurance industry it's unofficially known that iSelect will push the fund (out of the half dozen they have) that is paying them the most commission that day.

Spot on. I had a look when I was pricing up health insurance and there is nothing on there worth looking at.

Hmm, she's had work done yeah (botox, lips?). She doesn't look natural anymore.

iSelect.com.au simply has an 'Approved product list'. Their health insurance site says " In making an appropriate recommendation we do not consider every product on the market or of participating funds, but only those products in our list of approved products. This list represents (health insurance) policies that:
•iSelect assesses as suitable to offer to you based on product quality and other metrics,
•policies that participating health funds wish to offer to our customers and finally
•policies that enable us to meet both participating fund and iSelect commercial needs.

I hope that clears things up a little.

Also it was the iSelect lady that appeared in that raunchy bourbon ad healthinsurancehounds.com/YouTube3.html

P.S. If anyone in your extended family has ever had diabetes or cancer or you simply want freebies, have a look at http://Dogtors.info

Correct, a health insurance fund has to allow you access to their data via the PHIO otherwise you cannot do what iSelect are doing (comparision results between products). However, iSelect have a known reputation of altering their results so that the fund that pays them the most commission comes out as the #1 result.

If you're in the market for health insurance, it only takes you about 4.25 seconds to realise that iSelect isn't going to help you much.

I used iSelect back when they compared every single health fund available. Got an awesome deal.

I love this chick. They nailed it in finding a way to get me to watch insurance ads on tv, albeit with the volume off.
