im havin problems with this bf2 patch1.41 it downloaded fine and installed successfully but when i start the game in the login screen still shows i have ver 1.29...... not sure y can any1 help me at all what am i doin wrong

Could just be cosmetic. Check for some of the changes they have made in the patch and see see if they have come into effect.

thats what i thought but i cant play online cause i have different version to all the servers!!!!!!!
not sure if its cause i need the patch 1.5 now to play online but i must have 1.41 before i install 1.5.............
so any ideas on how to see if it is just cosmetic

Looks like it isn't because you can't connect to the servers!

I seem to remember having heaps of problems with getting bf2 patched when I played it. Is it a legit copy? (get the cuffs ready Lou..)

oh yeah its legit way to much stuffin around for me to get burnt games and for them to woirk online with all the s*** they do to stop u but i cant seem to find any1 else with this problem so its got me buggered oh well ill keep tryin

Maybe try using patches from ver 1.29 incrementaly (that means using them in sequence).

I would guess you have two copies of the game installed in different directories

i did have two installed....... one was only half installed but, not sure why the hell that was!!!!!!

thanks for all your help guys ended up having to uninstall it all anyway cause the game kept getting no reponce errors best just blow it away and start fresh
