I was reading another one earlier that she quit her blog after the whole fiasco where she
- Posted an article about how bad piracy is
- Actually stole the article from another blog
- Was found out as having posted her own pirated 'mixed tapes' online 5 years ago.

“I made those mixtapes 5 years ago, I didn’t have a knowledge of the workings of the music industry back then…,” she responded.

What she probably meant to say is that she had no clue about copyright before her income depended on it. Yet, she believes that every other person on this planet should know better, or get their Internet access cut off. Way to go girl.

In reality the artists are getting ripped by the records company more than people that pirate her music.

Make good music, price it resonably and people will buy it, thats pretty much it.

Thing about Lily Allen is that while her songs are amusing and entertaining, they're that way because she's a real bitch. People forget that that personality continues over to outside her music.
And don't get me wrong, I don't dislike her any more due to this - it's just as I see it.

Not sure what station you listen to but I've heard a fair few of her songs on nova (forced to listen to it at work).
