Uh oh it's an article from The Punch!

Basically it's about this site where you type in your name and it collects data about you:

http://personas.media.mit.edu/personasWeb.html

Pity there isn't an easy way to paste your results here but mine came up high on design, professional, and medicine (?).

It seems to be on the right track but it is a little wtf. Reminds me of seeing how many hours I've played a particular class in tf2... except that's apparently accurate.

i got roughly 15% "online", 15% books, 15% "illegal" and 55% education.

what the f***? some motherf***ers out there defiling my good name with education!?

edit: did it again with exact same spelling and capitalisation and got roughly 75% education and 25% medical. i don't understand how the data on the net associated with my name could change within 60 secs or so. seems like bulls*** to me.

different again on the 3rd try.

I got 28 areas.....and no percentages. Common name....

I won't even bother, famous person's name *sigh*

I typed my mates name which is very unique and he's a surgeon and medical was only like 5%. I'm callin' bulls*** on this one. Nice interface design though.

But the results aren't about you, they are about the name you go by. Chances are that "you" form almost no part if any of the results.

I got the biggest section in Genealogy, which isn't even close. The first three Google results for my name are all me, for things like my animation reel and LinkedIn profile, all giving my profession.

For the gronks saying you don't have a big enough resolution, just minimize your task bar as it tells you to.

I put in Osama bin laden just for kicks and apparently he's big on sport, management and education. Sign me up for that s***!
