Hey guys.
I know there are a few CAD monkeys on here and Designers and what not that may use it too. Do you have any experence in using ECW files in AutoCAD? Specifically which Ad-on you use or have heard good things about. I generally only use 12D (and Civil3D if I have to use an AutoDesk product) which both have ECW support but the drawing file i'm giveing is to be used in AutoCAD where ECW isn't a supported image file. I found this one; http://www.earthetc.com/gis/new-version-of-autocad-ecw-plugin-now-supports-autocad-map-3d.aspx but I cant look into it unless I go home or get the file cleared through ISS... which would take too long, concidering it might not even work. A work around for either 2009 would be awesome but a working fix for 2006 would be great too (currently rolling out 2009 but still have 2006 access.) Also, yes I could convert the ECW into something like .jpeg but then not only am I doubling up on 75GB worth of images I'm also loseing the majority of MetaData associated with those images. Any help greatly appreciated. |

Then you're both stupid.
Also; http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=11091617&linkID=9240618 Endorsed by AutoDesk (USA) and a free download. Why the f*** they couldn't include it in the regular f***ing install is beyond me. Worked a treat though. |
