haha crazy old far, although it was stupid... all the cash in banks is insured, so everyone would get their cash back. We don't need hero's doing that s***, what happens if he didn't take him cleanly and the robber starts going crazy shooting every f***er in there

Bet he was thinking... A: If he wounds her and she doesn't die I'll have to nursemaid her for the rest of her life B: f***, If he kills me I don't have to put up with my nagging bitch of a wife C: I can claim the reward and not worry bout eating anymore dogfood! |

It's because of the "don't worry it's insured" mentality that places are getting robbed.
the bank's money being insured doesn't fix the trauma that people in the building experience because of dirt bags like this. I like that the lady put the boot in. She should've crushed his skull with one of the bollards. Sure the robber may have just happily left with his cash, but he could just have well rounded everyone up, walked them to the safe and shot them all dead so that there were no witnesses. |

While the bank money is insured if people want to risk their lives doing this then fine. I guess there is a possibility someone else could get shot, but then again there is also a possibility of that happening if no-one does anything. It at least ensures the immediate capture of the robber. |

What infi just did is a classic strawman right? I am a bit new to them. Just because I say robbers shouldn't be shot and apprehension is preferable to death doesn't mean I think the robbers should only have guns ya retard lol

Also, I agree it's fairly stupid, but yeah if he honestly felt like his wife was in danger, why not, eh? He got away with it and he tackled well pinning the arms, so it's a happy ending. :-P |

Remember, even with a concealed weapons or open carry license in the USA, it's still highly illegal to carry your gun in a bank... so yeah, this is a situation where citizens being armed does jack s***.
Banks, police stations, courts, schools, all types of federal buildings... completely off limits. last edited by CHUB at 08:23:20 22/Sep/09 |

whats wrong with removing the right to live from the scum of our society It's more fun to let them rot in prison? Statistically one in two prisoners enjoy taking a shower. Nah, seriously, way I see it there are two options: 1. Very good (read:expensive) trial and appeals system to make sure that you are 100% that the person committed the crime - and then implement death penalty 2. Not as good (read:cheap) trial and appeals system, less certainty about conviction, lesser sentence and emphasis on the belief that everyone can be rehabilitated |

Oh here we go the internet hero has arrived! Brb just calling my underworld contacts to get a gun then I am going driving to the servo, I heard there is trouble there. On the way if someone enters my turning lane by 1nm then I will smash them with my bullbar with my BIG TRUCK. All in a days work for someone who is able to judge who the scum of society is, and who should live and who should die.
I've tried really hard to ignore you because 'internet toughguys' are the most boring people to talk with in the world. Robbers don't deserve to die. Like any other criminal they have the right to a trial. f*** they have a right to live just like anyone else. This mentality of if someone makes one mistake albeit a big one that they are 'scum of society' and don't deserve to live is what I'd expect from some little 16 year old emo, who has just had his taste of the big bad world. How would you feel if you were punished to the maximum for every mistake you have made teq? |

the world would be a better place without violent criminals and I wouldn't mind if they were all put to death because I dont ever intend to be oneYes. Violence is a terrible problem in the world. I suggest some sort of mass slaughter to fix this problem of violence that we have. Don't you realise how dumb you sound? edit: real world? I dunno. My 3 and a bit years of being a security guard I met all walks of life. Police, bikies, criminals... all sorts of dodgy c***s. Does that count as talking to people in the real world to you? I guess it doesn't compare to your days of sitting in an office working on a computer does it? it'd be worth the heartache of losing a few people you loveJesus man. NO IT WOULDN'T. Jesus man. NO IT WOULDN'T. There is not a single thing that I'd take above my mother, father and brothers all being alive. You're a f***wit. If my brother murdered your brother, my brother should have the same fate - it might not stop all murderers, but it might stop a few. If your brother murdered my brother, your brother should have the same fate, it might not stop all murderers, but it might stop a few. you can't have it both ways, by all accounts you are against any form of the death penalty? if not, what gives you anymore right than me to weigh in with my opinion on who should live and who should die? if so, how do you propose to deal with an ever increasing violence problem in this world? hopes and dreams? maybe the big bad boogie man will leave me alone and I'll just go on living until I die, then it wont be my problem? what about your kids, you don't care what kind of world they're going to grow up in? ignorance, I was having fun with you but now you're just being silly |

The only reason I am against the death penalty is because the justice system is fallible and in my opinion, one wrongfully executed person is too many. And what ever increasing violence problem? There has always been violence and there always will be... that's you being ignorant lol.
And this my brother your brother s*** what was the point of that? If my brother murdered your brother or vice versa, he should be arrested and put in jail. What is all that s*** you said? Just the regular teq bulls*** or something? |

it was along the lines of missions question
You'd be happy for your son to be put to death if he got caught up in some shiz and did a bit of robbing? I'm saying I'm happy for people to be put to death and I realise that means I could lose someone I love but my survival instinct is strong enough that I wouldn't want to die, hence I wouldn't do the crime that could result in being put to death I'm 100% for the death penalty, rapists, murderers, violent criminals in general shouldn't get a second chance Gaol is full |

The only reason I am against the death penalty is because the justice system is fallible Correct. So many historical examples back this fact up. Here is an example of someone who I believe the death penalty would be perfectly suited to... Peter Dupas. This is a guy who performed his first rape at age 21 and got 9 years. Two months after his first release he commits again and is imprisoned for another 5 years. FOUR DAYS after his next release, he commits again and is back in the slammer. This continues till he eventually commits 3 (possibly more) murders and now he is in for life.
Now who the death penalty isn't suited to is someone who hangs around with the wrong crowd, or to sugar coat it a lot less, is a d******* f***wit and f***s up and robs a bank and scares a bunch of people. There is a rehabilitation system in place for people like this, and it is ignorant of you to ignore it and to have your childish little beliefs that every person who commits a violent crime should be executed. It's just simply dumb. |

i don't believe the robber should have been killed. that is an extreme response and not according to law anyway, unless a legitimate defense of self-defense can be proven.
but if the teller pulls a shotty out, then the robber isn't so cocky after all. it just changes the dynamic so the robber who originally thought he was in control with his knife or syringe or whatever suddenly goes "s***, this was a bad idea." to suggest that bank robbing should be permitted to occur due to insurance is ridiculous, we would be rewarding bad behaviour. |

Theres a story behind everything that someone does, you cant just say that guy is scum, needs to die etc, he could have lost his job, needed money for his family, didnt see any other way, or he could just be a druggo needing some drug money. He also could have been a career criminal, who knows.
Anyway, that was the best leap tackle ever, that guys got some balls, pretty sure I wouldnt have done it, but he did say his wife was near the guy, so who knows what you would do in the situation. |
