So, I got my copy today, about to start reading it.
Who has it? Thoughts? Also PLEASE don't put any spoilers in here! I loved his other books, was more of a fan of DVC than Angels & Demons though. It's always exciting reading about ideas that are outside conventional education |

Davinci Code was an awesome novel. Well researched and a slightly corrupted truth which overlaps fiction.
The way it reads as well is compelling. I read it pretty much non-stop and I rarely read fiction. |

Da Vinci Code was a good book for the first 70%, then it was boring as s***. And yeah, movie was lack-lustre for such an impressive cast. No Dan Brown ever again for me. That was enough. There's much better literature out there. I just finished Dostoevsky "The Idiot" which was a good book. Hard to get into, I had to read a lot twice, but a great social commentary. |

I've read all of Dan Brown's books (except for this new one). I found them enjoyable, but after I'd read two, the others were pretty predictable. They all follow the exact same formula. Though I reckon Deception Point is definitely the best out of the lot.
I'll give this one a go. Is it another Robert Langdon novel? |

I slept through parts of his first boring movie after being dragged to the cinema to see it by a soon to be disappointed fan of the book.
I nearly slept through the second movie, but then decided to get up off the couch and go check my email instead. If his s***ty movies aren't interesting enough to keep me awake what chance do his books have? Also, some spoilers from someone that's read it: http://adamthinks.com/lost-symbol-spoiler/ Langdon realizes the layout of Washington, D.C. is based around a diagram the female reproductive system. last edited by natslovR at 23:41:44 15/Sep/09 |

Dan Brown is a no-talent hack who writes for ADD six-year-olds and does his research as though he's one of the same. If you don't believe me, read digital fortress, and if you still don't believe me, you're one of the target audience.
So enjoy. |

There was no point waitng for the new dan brown book. If anything like his other forumlaic trash, the dan brown plot generator would have it covered
