Hai infi!

I asked my friend's little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up.

She said she wanted to be Prime Minister of Australia some day.

Both of her parents, Labour supporters, were standing there, so I asked her, "If you were Prime Minister what would be the first thing you would do?"

She replied, "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people."

Her parents beamed, and said, "Welcome to the Labour Party!"

"Wow...a noble cause, to be sure!" I told her.

"But you don't have to wait until you're Prime Minister to do that!

You can come over to my house, mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out. You can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house."

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?"

"Welcome to the Liberal Party."

Think twice before posting some dumb-arse negative comment or 'OOLLDDDD' - it's a joke, it's a bit of fun, alright? It wrangled a smile out of me, anyway.

Mission's correct. Labor is so inherently wrong they misspell their own name.

She replied, "I'd give free money out like it was going out of fashion, so everyone has enough to spend spend spend!"

Her parents beamed, and said, "Welcome to the Labour Party!"

"Wow...a noble cause, to be sure!" I told her.

"But how are you going to pay back the money that you're giving away?."

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and said, "It wont matter because after a stupid stunt like that I'm sure to never win another election, so it will be the liberals problem!"

it's easy to get spook once you move past the handout mentality.

perfectly capable people should get a job, for the rest the government supplies a safety net.

damn job snobs.

Actually labor is probably more correct, the English borrowed it from the French who spelt it labeur, but the latin root was labor.

But given that it's a proper noun who cares. They can spell it Ladyboys for all it matters. ps. The Liberals aren't very liberal either.
