We have a detailed write-up from our new lady games journo, Dotarray, directly from BlizzCon 09 detailing much of what to expect with the recently announced all-new expansion for World of WarCraft, Cataclysm.

Beyond simply offering a new level cap and a few new races, this newest update for the incredibly popular MMO will actually change the landscape definitively, meaning you won't be able to go back to old areas as they once were; it's exactly the sort of change missing from the MMO space and a welcome shift.

For more details, check out Dotarray's Cataclysm write up.

After weeks of speculation, rumours, and "wild, unsubstantiated lore", Cataclysm was announced, complete with gorgeous cinematics, cheers from the 20,000-strong crowd, and even some on-stage pyrotechnics.

Do you guys have a link to these gorgeous cinematics? I must have missed them ...

No doubt all will be made right by the cinematic trailer.

Yea the vids sucked across the board, and overall Blizzcon 09 sucked, no info on the new MMO and no D3 release date. Some interesting stuff for wow at least, don't think it will have the legs to get me back though.
